Located in the greater Tampa Bay area, Summertime Ranch is a surprising study in contrasts. Nestled in a residential community, Summertime Ranch is a fully operational farm, complete with cows, chickens, goats, horses, dogs, cats, and even a couple of hedgehogs and a chinchilla. Our family carefully selected unique breeds of farm animals that compliment our large, hands on family. Our cattle are Scottish Highlands, world renowned for their gentle, hardy nature, as demonstrated by Cooper, sitting with our herd bull, Scotty in the photo above. Our goats are Nigerian Dwarfs, selected for their interactive personalities, small size, blue eyes, and vivid colors. Our dogs are Bernese Mountain Dogs, bred for centuries as farm companions and livestock dogs. Each animal on our farm is carefully selected for its quality, conforming breed characteristics, and temperment. We breed for excellence and with six school aged children, we guarantee every animal we place will be remarkably well socialized.
